I will paint my picture Paint myself in blue and red and black and gray All of the beautiful colors are very very meaningful Gray is my favorite color I felt so symbolic yesterday If I knew Picasso I would buy myself a gray guitar and play
1. I fell off the bed. 2. Didn't realize I was missing a button until I was at school. 3. New editions of I love the 80's on VH1! 4. Tripped, fell, bruised my tush. 5. Car radio had not been working. 6. Car radio is now working again.
The boys will be girls, tonight! Jim, Travis, and Jason are putting on their queen finery, and becoming Marty, Livi, and....ummmmm shit I forgot J's name!
I am sorry that I'm here and unable to "Grace" for Jim/Will/Marty...but all my pretty princess powers and thoughts are with her.
To all the girls.....Take luck....Knock em dead.....Give those cowboys something to think about!
Jim...I love you! Break a leg....and thank you for the make-up session.
This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out! Try to do so without any coaching.
So, what do you think is wrong with it?

It's raining! A lot! I love it....although I have found one draw back. I live uphill from almost everywhere. Many of the streets I have to cross are designed to be washes. Anyone want to contribute to the "Waterwings for Mandy's car" fund?

Peaceful and gentle, lambs have been used in religious imagery for millennia. Lambs are baby sheep, an animal tended by shephards since the dawn of history. As a lamb, you tend to stay together in a flock and graze on grassy land. Lambs don't mind being led and tend not to go off on their own.
At this point I'm thinking of greeting you all with "baaaaa" from now on.

I voluntarily went bowling. This is big news....at least to me. Generally, I need to be seriously bribed to play bar sports. I'm much more of a coach/cheerleader than I am a player. Since being in Havasu I have played pool, thrown darts, and actually arranged the bowling expedition. Of course it could have been the 15 minute Madonna mix/remix followed by Cindy Lauper, George Michael, and Beastie Boys. That mix alone could be considered a bribe (It would have been even sweeter if there was some Prince...I miss Prince...I need the Purple Wonder)under normal circumstances. I think that the best part was the denim, red suede, neon, glowing shoes. Noone can resist the power of shoes!

I was in an episode of CSI. No, really...I was. Well, it was a dream, but it was most definently CSI. It was one of those focus on one character episodes. It was a Nick episode. ~swoon~ Unfortunately, I was about 16 years old and on a school trip. The main part had to do with finding a missing girl. Nick had taken this case personally and was looking for help. The school trip just ended up in the middle of it.
(Side trip...but it applies you'll see) Remember those wall-walker toys? The little spiders or octopods made out of sticky goo/plastic that when thrown at walls would eventually "walk" themselves to the floor?
(Now back to the dream) We, the students were throwing the spiders at a sign. Only these toys weren't toys...they were alive. They just were...go with it. Eventually, it was decided that to find the girl, her spider would need to be used. Think scrying. So, Nick winds up and throws the toy. *Splat* Right on a map of the building. Only for some reason he now needs to go somewhere else. We are shepharded onto the school bus to follow the team. Because of course we have to be there.
*beep beep beep* I loathe my alarm some days.
Maybe I'll get to see the rest in re-runs...

I'm back! Didja miss me? I had a fantastic time in Seattle. So many things to see, do, and eat. I was able to convince Abra to let me be dorky and see some of the really touristy things...ie the Space Needle and the monorail. There was much food, as my entertainment directors know Seattle through their stomachs. And....there was of course a bit of rope. In fact, Monk has video of me (taken by the gorgeous Tambo)as winch wench posted on his blog. I highly suggest viewing this (if you haven't already). My girlie bits are covered, I'm laughing almost hysterically, and Griffin is being perfectly evil to me. If you listen closely you can even hear others commenting. It was fun!
In other news, my cat appears to have been only slightly tormented during my vacation. The kitty-sitters decided on Tuesday to poke him and make him move from my bed, by Thursday he was greeting them at the door. Since I've been home he has not been more than two feet away from me. He's purring and occasionally stretching a paw out to touch me.....I may be a figment of his imagination.

Hi all, CalendarGirl here. The Pink Princess is taking a break. The park will be closed as she visits NerdyGirl in the land of Immoral Mangoes. She didn't leave a clear message as to whether or not she would be sending back stories. If not, feel free to visit the library (see Archives and Links). As always the phone and email lines will be operational and manned...er...womaned by me. The park and all its attractions will resume function in about a week. Until then.....~waves and wanders back into the office~
